Matt Nelson
In the early years, Matt sold jokes to hobos to pay his way through the lunchline. After discovering improv, he went on to perform out West with groups like Brainwaves, Whoopee Pushin, DDC and Spitting Nonsense. Since moving to Philadelphia, he has created PhillyImprov.com, an all-inclusive resource for the Philadelphia region, and was one of the organizers behind the highly successful first ever Philadelphia Improv Festival: PHIF | 2005.
It is easy to see why his performances are appealing to all audiences… as his seamless narrative style is both simple enough for toddlers, yet dirty enough for any old man. He currently resides in Manayunk with his girlfriend, his dog and a 25-pound dustbunny named Pablo.
